Cunning ploy by the parents; report it, so the possibly nasty fecker who
sent it by accident can't get it back, and he certainly won't be helping
the police with their enquiries if he can help it. The parents (and kid)
get the cash handed to them later on.

Actually, who says the seller exists? Perhaps it's a roundabout way of
laundering the dosh.
