Default Custom parts...

Hey guys,

Hope you can help. Im trying to find out what the trade name is for guys who
make customs parts like adapter plates for brake calipers, bushes/spacers,
one-off brakets etc. In South Africa their trade name were "Fitters and
Turners", because they fit and turned!!! ;o)

I need to look up these people in the yellow pages as I would need some
adapters made up for my road bike (as well as another 'small project' of
mine).

Any help would be appreciated of great ones!

ZeroAxe.

I can do that sort of stuff provided:

(A) You can provide some sort of dimensioned drawing
(B) Turnaround time isn't a problem (this is a hobby)
(C) You are prepared to buy beers

Erm, i'm not sure I can provide an acurate drawing of this though... I can
surely try (I have tampered with the idea of making a small 'template' out
of thin plywood and then 'give' that to the .....(Fitter and turner? <-- Is
this the correct term?)

sometimes I wished I had this as a hobby as I'm more into bikes now than
computers! ;o)

That'd probably work. Alternatively (if you're mobile) you could wander
up here (North Herts) and we could figure out what's needed.
