Item 220130148250 - OK, so it's probably a genuine Montjuic and it's got plenty of history but it's a resto jobbie and (reading carefully) it's not even a runner. Yet someone's paying 2 grand for *that*? -- Morini Corsaro 125 | CB450 K4 | XL250 Motosport x2 | 900SSD | VFR750 Triumph T-Bird chop | K1100LT | CB400 Four BOTAFOF #33 The UKRMC FAQ: http://www.unixconsult.co.uk/bike/ukrmcfaq.html |

I love those bikes, having raced one many moons ago, mostly round Cadwell Park. TBH I'd pay [1][2] £2k for one, but as you suggest, it'd have to be a runner. ![]() [1] If I had the disposable. Sure - it's a Classic. If you can't afford that, maybe you should be looking at 250142746329. -- platypus "fastidious and precise" |

Nothing wrong with a decent 400N, nut even one as clean as this shouldn't be in four figures. |

Indeed - that was my first bike back after the usual late teens break from biking, and it looked *exactly* like that one - except for the dent in the tank where it toppled of the stand and fell on my dead Vauxhall Viva. Recently married, living in a rented flat, set off one Saturday morning into town, came out the other end having signed up for our first mortgage, and finance on the 18 months old 400N which became our main transport for the next few years. -- Rob_P UKRMC(at)indqualtec.co.uk FJ1200, (in bits) CCM130 (need sharpening) |
