A £900 BIN for an old CB250G% with a missing side panel and "minor pitting" on the chrome? And that's not even UK registered? "These bikes are now fetching very good prices for original spec bikes" This sort of blatant hype and thievery from a so-called classic dealer actually makes me angry.... |

I'm surprised he's not selling it for his friend/father/deceased uncle. Why do 50% of ebay vehicle sellers say this? I just think 'dodgy c*nt' straight away. |

I reckon that's worth £1500 all day long, and if it's as clean as it looks in the pix, maybe more. |

And that's not even UK registered? Just realised I had one of them in 1982ish. When I came to sell it one bloke offered me a sovereign ring for it. The guy who eventually bought it was a doley whose wife was feeding their baby on water with sugar in it. I had to go with him to the DSS to get his Giro so he could pay for it. Water cooling has been around since the earliest days of motorcycling, V-twins the same. Nothing on a VT250 is what I'd consider high tech, but some of it is unneccesary, such as inboard enclosed discs. -- Lozzo GSX-R1000 K1 GSF600(S)W GPZ500S E1 (FS: 350 quid and it's yours) |
