Dependant on condition, I'd think. A mint one might be worth a bit for unusual-value, these days, but if it's not good, it'd take a fair amount of pennies to get right. the R69S was quite well thought of in its day, but yours sounds like it isn't an S. -- Austin Shackles. www.ddol-las.fsnet.co.uk my opinions are just that Once, when the secrets of science were the jealously guarded property of a small priesthood, the common man had no hope of mastering their arcane complexities. Years of study in musty classrooms were prerequisite to obtaining even a dim, incoherent knowledge of science. Today, all that has changed: a dim, incoherent knowledge of science is available to anyone. - Tom Weller, Science Made Stupid, 1986 |

I'll see if I can find a pic of it. in that case, it might be worth summat. 's a bit niche-market, though, not many folk want 'em. Is it a plunger rear, as well? Personally, I thought they were nice-looking bikes, and the TLS front brake got very good reports on the R69S when that was new. Identical brake to my R60/6, in fact, and that's not bad either if you bother to maintain it. Not up to modern disc standards, of course, but reputed to be as good as the disc fitted to the /7 model. -- Austin Shackles. www.ddol-las.fsnet.co.uk my opinions are just that "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero" (sieze today, and put as little trust as you can in tomorrow) Horace (65 - 8 BC) Odes, I.xi.8 |
