TOG@Toil came up with the following;:

The impact driver, oddly, doesn't hold > the same appeal, which you'd think it would, considering it's a tool > that needs clobbering with a blunt instrument. I have an Air Impact Driver, and a Chisel and shed loads of others (Used to work for Desoutter) that are all pretty well unbreakable and very satisfying to use. > Oh! Just thought of another one. My FOAD strobe gun, c/w dwell meter, > adjustable advance and retard setting and rev counter. > > Anybody else got tools they just *like* using? Part of my Desoutter 'stuff' was with Georges Renault Electronic Torque Tightening Equipment .. Torque Wrenches that cost from £10k and go upwards, mainly for production lines ... After being made redundant, someone forgot to ask for the samples etc back, and I have a couple of small electronic wrenches and torque transducers/readers that are the dogs bollocks.and which just work so well. Not really much use at home, but I still do the odd bit of freelance testing/designing ... ![]() -- Paul ... (8(|) Homer Rules ..... Doh !!! |
