"Nigel Hydes" <Hydes@btinternet.com> spouted the following in
news:bfj17b$efs$1@titan.btinternet.com: > my cb175's tank is really rusty (inside) to far gone to clean out. > i can get a cb200 tank very cheap, but don't know if it will fit. does > anyone know or have any ideas. > thanks ian > > I successfully salvaged a well rusted (leaking at the seams!) Z200 tank by pouring in half a pint of fibreglass resin and turning the tank over and over until it cured. (Do it on a warm day!). Make sure you remove the petrol tap and put a metric fine dummy bolt or knacked old petrol tap in. HTH -- - tallbloke http://www.tallbloke.net BONY#1 DIAABTCOD#7 Bikes 'n' Bits. |
