Went into DND motorcycles Bangor yesterday and had to do a double take.
Maroon RD200 4400 miles one owner. Utterly original, every bit of original chrome and metal plug caps without a trace of rust. Curiously the fork stanchions had pitted, but easily recovered, and the seat base had been twisted slightly pulling it onto the stand. One scratch on the tank. The silencers looked like the day it rolled out of the factory. Sold already. £1200 Phew, narrow escape. <curses> -- 'Hog '96 Bastard B12 '89 R100RS '81 XS650 '78 RD400 |
