I've always fancied one of these but a rethink may be necessary given the

Hmm, my Dad had one of these about 10 years ago, I think he sold it for
about 2-3k. I wonder if it's the same bike, the condition, age and
colour all match. It was a good runner at the time.

I dropped my RD onto it while working on the forks, he wasn't very
happy, luckily it just put a dent in the rear number plate and as I was
a car sprayer at the time it was easily fixed.

This is reckoned to be the most attractive of all the Vtwin BSAs They also
only made 1600 of them hence the crazy price
Sadly because of the price most now end up in museums or collections and
never ridden in anger.
A J12 is very similar but much more affordable.
