Well, it's been bloody useless so far. The sun hasn't come out. The business task I'm working on remains intractable, and even the change of PM hasn't prompted the other side to respond to an email which needs detailed answers. My shirts have picked up some muck in the washing-machine, and I'll have to run them through again on the 'intensive stains' programme. My son's cricket-match has been cancelled, and he was really looking forward to that. Other son's gecko's started looking a bit peaky. Global warming hasn't been reversed. They *still* haven't cracked cold fusion. Traffic's driving too fast through the village, even though there's a coach parked up nearby. It's all the fault of that miserable bastard Brown. Who else is there to blame? |
