I am in the enviable position of having a week to kill in Europe between jobs.
I am starting in Cologne, and have to be in Hanover a week later, July 1. The weather forecast looks crap all over the place, but I am toying with the idea of checking out the circuit at Brno. I have read somewhere that there is a race school there, similar to Ron Haslams at Donington which I have done before. I cannot find anything about this race school on the web, and the MCN website seems to be in permanent limbo... does anyone have any info on this? Or if I draw a blank there, anyone got any other ideas for good circuits to get onto? (I ride a ZX12R, and have already done the Nurburgring a few times by the way) Any info gratefully accepted... my email is rockerc@aol.com Cheers! Chris Reynolds |

The weather forecast looks crap I'd spend a the time in the Mosel. Book into a hotel for a few days so that I could ride around the Eiffel Mountains without luggage. Trier is a nice city. Worthy of a couple of days off the bike itself[1]. Bitburger beer is brewed just a few km away. Cochem, popular with bikers and Nurburgring are not far away. Hotel Garni Grund on Paulingstrasse is a nice family run hotel with off street parking. You can find it in the hotels section of www.trier.de [1] crap weather when returning from Slovenia is the reason that I stopped in Trier. We stopped for lunch hoping the weather would improve. It didn't so we booked into the Garni Grund. Liked the city so stayed another day. -- BMW R1150GS |
