Default Brit MX Champ

Those of you in the South East.
March 14th
The first round is at Canada Heights (near Brands Hatch). Its a top day out
and the racing will make you giggle like a child. I went for the first time
last year.
I liked it so much I joined the club.

Info on www.britmx.com Ignore the twatty twat on the opening page.
More info on www.sidcupmotorcycleclub.co.uk
It is about 15 minutes from the Dartford Bridge/Tunnel
£15 for adults, free for kids. My kids loved it last year as there are
plenty of woods, rides and burgers
for them to play on.

See you there?

Blimey! Last time I went there, it was on the TS185. I guess I'd have
still been at school. So, 1979 or 1980, then.

Some bloke called Vic did quite well, iirc.

So true.

Followed by rally-cross from Lydden.

Then after the footy results, over to ITV where Kent Walton was ready
to entertain "all you grapple-fans".

Oh what wonderful saturday afternoons I spent with my father.

That's the puppy. In the days when a warm Hillman Imp could win the
European Championships - and Murray at his best, "He's got a clear
lead now, he's going to run away as he's the only one who can see
where he's going ... my God, he's rolled it ... "

Arr. Mick McManus and Johnny Saint, Kendo Nagasaki, Rollerball Rocco
and that old guy Les summat, who pulled silly stunts (and faces) - and
refused to be bounced off the ropes by sitting down in the ring when
his opponent was trying to drag him across for a posting ;-)

I was there, mate. Well, not in your front room like, but in a
parallel one about 300 miles away.

Heh, Les Kellett was the man.

Hmm, good old fashioned family quality time - watching a couple of blokes
getting physical (or 4 if was a tag match)

I recommend Simon Garfield's book "The Wrestling":
