I've Just purchased a honda big red 4x4 300cc, and i'm wondering what
the rules are for taking it on the road.It will be used mainly for farm work and leisure but inevitably will end up on the queens highway. When i bought it i got the Reg document and that had with it a tax disc which stated limited use on the road. The tax disc had Nil in the price section and the dealer reackoned i could use it on the road now and again if i insure it. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks Cal -- Posted via Mailgate.ORG Server - http://www.Mailgate.ORG |

What is it actually shown as on the V5 and the VEL?? I would think it would be agricultural vehicle but it could be works truck or dual purpose vehicle. You can only use it to transit between them - not to go off-roading. -- ST1100 Pan European (With optional Get out of Jail Free Card) ZX9R E1 (Its Green and Clean) XTZ750 (Flying Banana) "Leaner Meaner Janitorial Cleaner" IBW#5 NATC#1 MHP#1 MMJ#1 BotTOS#1 UKRMFBC#4 Kot HMC APOSTLE#11 |
