Default Bandit for sale

On behalf of a friend from work:

GSF1200 SUZUKI BANDIT, R reg,16000 dry miles, full history, half
faired, Navy blue, years MOT, two new tyres, recent service, sprockets
and chain, spare race can. Lots of extras available for the best
offer, inc, topbox (£100 worth) and intercom system(rider to pillion
worth £300).

I have been the owner since new. She has a few little flaws and i
think she will need a new seat cover soon but shes has been a reliable
touring bike, not a thrashed coast motor, that has been stored the
last two years.

Age forces sale.
Located near Guildford, Surrey
£2300 ono

I'm not being deliberately dim, but what does he mean by a "thrashed
coast motor". I can't even see a likely typo.

From an episode of Inspector Morse I watched the other day:

"I don't know why people refer to cars as 'she'; everyone knows cars
have nothing to do with women."

Indeed. They all do it, unless they're not ridden

Looking at the photo's you posted, I dunno - it looks mainly cosmetic to
me - or are the forks actually bent/badly damaged?

Quite. I've never understood it either. Cars and bikes are inaminate
objects. They are things. The word to use is "it".

Mine never did. I really need to get out and see it; it's still lying
in a gently corroding heap in my uncle's yard. I need the Scottoiler
off it for the 1200, and to see if I can rescue any bits for those in
need/eBay. I suppose if the seat's still intact, it'll be worth
something? Probably has pucker marks in it, given the
circumstances...

Assuming it hasn't suffered as a result of the accident, you're on.
Won't be able to see it before next weekend, though.
