Default Avebury tomorrow (11th)

I'll be there, albeit in the cage[1][2]. Anyone fancy a beer?

[1] I'll be working on the flat in Calne so passing through Avebury on
the way home.
[2] Blue Cherokee covered in 'Muddystuff.co.uk' stickers.

On-call this week, so the closest I'm likely to get to the bike is
cleaning it.

Arranged cover for Fairford on Sunday though. Prace weather bets now!

Bugger.

Wedsnesday is the most popular summer ride out evening, and my
Wedsnesdays are now booked til September with guitar-playing
activities. Such is life.

I might take the Ural out for a trundle.

Might wander along in the cage as well (its not like I have a choice ATM).

Time / Place ? Pub Carp Ark or Pubic Carp Ark ?

No chance of pub parking unless you get there before 6 & don't want to
leave 'til very late. You should be able to get in the car park down
the little side-road past the pub though.

Don't know what time - depends how I get on with the flat. Probably 7 -
7.30ish. I'll wear my silly hat so you can find me - leather panels of
various shades of tan/brown(ish).

Pontefract occasionally for work, but I escape back down South as

It's a pity you weren't there to say that last night, when I was trying

promptly went straight through said wall. Oops...

I'm meeting Karen at the assembly rooms at seven, get your arse in
gear. I'm not drinking much as I'm going on the bike, the long way
there and back - via Matt's to watch Rome on the way back.

PS I had no idea until Karen rang and asked if I was going - actually
that should be 'dragooned me into coming out on threat of severe
consequences'.

She is the beer monster.

Given that's 20 mins from now, and I've not eaten anything yet today
I'll give it a miss... I've got way too much work to do tomorrow to face
it with a hangover.

Couple of photos and a short video of Gyp piloting Platy's urinal back into
its space.
His attempt to find reverse and pilot it out wasn't quite as successful, so
an expert had to intervene ;-)

TBH, reverse was dead easy when I knew which lever Platy was talking
about (I had a play at reversing in the entrance to the car park on the
way out of the village)

I got slightly confused by the always on neutral light, but other than
that it was only slightly worse than I expected.

The other highlight was Platy's description of Krusty.

Heh, no worries, I'm on a diet anyway ;-)

I did like your description of the outfits handling.

Had a lovely (quick) run home via some v.twisty roads; I'd fitted a lower
and upper strut brace to the cage at the weekend, boy its a noticeable
improvement paired with the slightly stiffer H&R springs.
