Autocom headsets

I've just won a autocom intercom on fleabay. Now it comes with one
headset but I need another for either SWMBO or myself.
The choice is though as I have a Caberg Justissimo(flip front) am I better
getting an 'open face' type or are they all the same?

The niggle I found sometimes with using a full-face headset with my
flip-front is that when I opened it the mike got pulled off the velcro
of the chinpiece.
Solved by leaving enough slack in the wire between earpiece and mike,
but that depends on whether yours is long enough to leave some slack.

Get an 'open face' mike for your flip-front lid and a non-working
dummy set for the missus - honestly, you'll thank me later.

Not sure what they're like now, hence to what you're referring, but
the one I've got in a box in the garage[1] has two thin speakers that
velcro into the lid and a boom microphone that could wedge into/behind
the padding. Worked well with no problems.

I mught even be tempted to flog 'em, if someone were to make it worth
my while...

[1] Fitted it on the Trumpet, but I doubt J's ever going to go on the
back of the gixxer

Well I've got the whole lot, two headsets, base unit, wiring and all,
which ISTR being somewhat more than that (cost >£150 when I bought it,
IIRC). Plus the hassle (not insignificant) of getting to a post office
and postage from Yrp.

I'm not keen to split it, so maybe if it's just a headset you're after
you'd be better of getting new one.

Sorry, the price I mentioned was just a headset and mike. How much are
you after for the lot? I could always ebay the other.
