Default Anti rust treatment for Sagaistii

Shamelessly nicked from elsewhere:-

Dissolve a Steredent Denture tablet in a very little hot water. When
totally dissolved and the foaming finished, try a small amount on a rust
patch. Pour it on and leave it for 12 hours.

Question is does it work and if it does by what means?

Dunno, but you really, *really* don't want to mistake steradent for
alkaseltzer in the morning when a bit worse for wear. Talk about cleaned
out, more like an internal scouring out.

There are other medication confusions that can cause problems when
hungover - my father once mistook a tube of Deep Heat for his piles
ointment...

As a small child, my kid sister mistook a tube of Colmans English Mustard
for banana-flavoured toothpaste.

At 18 months old, my son mistook a bottle of Windolene for hair shampoo.

That stuff doesn't half stink too.
