Veterans/Memorial Day Poem, #226
Red Geraniums Red geraniums against the sky Make it a deeper blue. White contrails from a plane s flyby Add to this magic hue. Red, white and blue a message here. The colors of our flag; Reminds us of the lives so dear Who for their country died. So plant geraniums everywhere. Make certain they are red. Place them on balconies and stairs To honor our war dead.
