Without TAPW this newsgroup would be *NOTHING* and his posts are more than welcome here AFAIC. Long live The Amazing Puppy Wizard, and please, never stop posting to uk.rec.pets.misc! -- Gaynor |

Great, then you keep that waste of time on your newsgroup and respect those of us who would lose a limb to get rid of him and *quit cross-posting to us*. |

Instead I'm killfiling all cross-posted messages in this newsgroup, since you seem to be incapable of posting or following up in just one. I'd strongly advise everyone else to do the same. -- Marcus L. I'm limited to Outlook Express 5.5 and haven't got a clue how to do this with the available message rule options. Please don't suggest another newsreader I haven't got the time or inclination. I'm drawing a blank on this, but as I understand it there are several pretty good alternative newsreaders that do allow this kind of killfile, some of them are free, and most of them lack a lot of the security holes in Outlook. You could look at the Mozilla newsreader, for example. I know this isn't what you wanted, but unfortunately it's the best I can suggest right now. I'll keep asking though. -- Marcus L. This "group" was destroyed long ago, by that daft old hag "Molly". It was impossible to ask a civilized question, without being judged, ridiculed second-guessed and generally becoming the subject of her disparaging remarks. As she was also the most prolific poster (albeit mostly drivel), she was seen as "keeper of the group" and so people didn't stay long. All the flooding since then is her responsibility. If you do decide to form a moderated alternative, please ensure she doesn't return as with "white hat" status and make damn sure she behaves herself. |
