I think it may be an allergic reaction, but if she has had Frontline before then I doubt it is that - most Frontline allergy reactions show up the very first time you apply it. My bet would be ants. I've had two cats in the past the had reactions to any bites on their lips which give exactly that sort of symptom. There have been lots of ants around in the last week or so as it is flying ant time. The soft soil they throw up is a magnet for cats and as soon as they start digging they see all the little ants running around and they just seem to want to stick their noses in ![]() -- Bob. Anything not there yet, will be. Hi Bob , Thats a point , there are red ants in the garden, I don't have the heart to poison or drown them . Tha Acclaim is still a possibility though as she had this late last year and I use Acclaim twice a year . Cats and dogs can be allergic to many things and to more than one thing at once. She had another steroid injection today , the lip has gone down a bit so hopefully she should be ok . If it reoccurs they might have to do a biopsy. I'd like to change her diet to a natural one with out additives , She can't have dried food . The only one I could find was steam cooked meat by Naturesmenu . I can,t find a local petshop , not even pets at home , that stock it although I suppose I could order it . Alison |
