Last year a cat I was caring for actually swallowed a wasp (I saw it happen). It obviously stung his palate because he wouldn't touch food for a few days and was very hyper. -- James |

I bet a lot of pets get stung by bees because they don't realise they're dangerous. Judy , my last dog , got stung on her bum once. She was out in the garden and suddenly went nuts and I found the sting still in her. Alison |

PS I have a name for Kims condition. Its on the web site below . She
is going back to the vet tomorrow . I remembered today that I used Acclaim on the carpets and furnishings last week so it must have caused the allergy They also have info about food allergies and inhalent allergies. http://www.marvistavet.com/html/body...granuloma.html -- Alison > "James" <candlewick@nospam.demon.co.uk> wrote in message > news:e1t44FDWMrF$Ewdr@skyscape.demon.co.uk... > >> Sorry to keep mentioning this but it could be an insect sting and > the > > lip in a very fine place for them sink their suckers, especially if > she > > was trying to eat a bee or wasp. > > > > Last year a cat I was caring for actually swallowed a wasp (I saw it > > happen).
