Just a note to say that http://www.oldies.org.uk/ has just been launched.
It's an online community operation aiming to get older dogs out of rescues
and pounds and into homes by publicising the plight of old dogs and
explaining what great pets old dogs can be.

The Oldies Club is not a rescue as such, but it is working with a lot of
different rescues and forums to publicise dogs that particularly need help
or keep being overlooked.

We're in the process of putting together an online homechecking course, and
are also organising transport (with K999) and foster homes.

If you would like to help out as a volunteer or have ideas about more ways
the Oldies Club could help old dogs, please let us know!
