....and jets flying overhead, lorries going past house, fireworlks.
Everytime he hears any of these things, he shivers and shakes and pants and appears to be having a kind of panic attack, with rapid panting. He tears around the house trying to find somewhere to hide - and we can't calm him down whatever we do. We rescued him from a shelter, and he is *really* well behaved and well-trained - he just goes to pieces when he hears loud rumbly noises. We are dreading November 5th - can anyone advise any remedy for this? Is it common in this breed? (I didn't think so from experiences of friends) Any advice gratefully received! |
